Last year more than 750 people used our facilities to obtain their DNR Firearms Safety Certificates.

While you probably know that anyone born on or after January 1, 1980, must pass this state exam before being allowed to buy a Minnesota hunting license, you may not realize that Firearms Safety Certification is "not just for kids anymore." Increasingly, other states require ALL non-resident hunters, including adults, to show proof of safety certification.

The following information is required by the DNR, please include the following information in your email:

• Students full legal name (as it appears on their Birth Certificate or Driver's License)

• Date of Birth (Student must be 11 years old by first day of class)

• Gender

• Mailing Address

• Phone Number

• Parent's Name
