Schuetzen is the sport of offhand rifle target shooting using antique or replica single-shot rifles. While competitors typically use Ballard, Sharps, Remington rolling-block, or Winchester high- or low-wall rifles -- or modern-made replicas of these designs -- modern rifles such as the Ruger No. 1 and Mossberg SSi are also allowed.

At this time, the only Schuetzen match scheduled at OGC in 2008 will be held on Sunday, May 18th, from 8am to 2pm.
