Trapshooting

Oakdale Gun Club features an ATA regulation trap range with 16- through 27-yard shooting stations, electric trap machines for competition and serious practice, and manual trap machines for training and light practice.

Open Hours Shooting
During scheduled public hours, the trap range is staffed and open to the general public from 8AM to 4PM. This is one of our most popular ranges and shooting is on a first-come first-served basis, so show up early or call ahead before driving out in the late afternoon.
Non-member fee: $6 per 25 clays

Wednesday Night “Novice” Trap
Novice Trap Night begins Wednesday, June 4 and will end Wednesday, September 10.  Novice Trap begins at 4 PM and ends ˝ hour before sunset.  This is intended for those who would like to learn about  trapshooting, and offers an opportunity to practice with less “competition” than Thursday.  Instruction is available.  Hearing and eye protection are required.

Thursday Night Trap League
As the name suggests, the Thursday Night League shoots every Thursday evening, from 5pm until 1/2 hour before sunset, beginning April 10 and ending September 11. This informal league is open to the public but the competition, while friendly, is pretty intense.
Non-member fee: $6 per 25 clays

Group Rates
OGC offers group range rentals outside of our normal public hours. For more information, click here.
